One of the founding partners of FDW, Alan’s vision and expertise continues to drive UHY FDW forward. Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. His empowerment management style has driven the success of the practice to date.

Alan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Past President of CPA Ireland. He has over 25 years’ experience dealing with corporate and private clients.

Alan has many years’ experience in advising businesses in various areas, but specialises in insolvency, examinership and corporate recovery services.  Alan has a wealth of experience dealing with matters of this nature and has taken on numerous formal appointments (Examinerships, Receiverships and Liquidations). He also specialises in advising clients with turnaround and business reviews.

Alan is Chairman of the Membership Training Working Group of UHY International, a worldwide audit, accounting, tax and business advisory network of more than 7,600 professionals spread across 90 countries. He is a long standing member of the Disciplinary Committee in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.
